What Is This?
The author, seen here fixing yet another problem caused by organizations treating IT as a cost center instead of an investment.

This is my personal blog of sorts. Expect the freshest, spiciest takes on whatever strikes my particular fancy. While I initially intended to focus on technology and systems, current events have me reflecting more on the systems of modern governance and their failures.

Who Is This?

An Information Technologist with OCD who pretends to be a dinosaur, in space, on the internet. I'm a generalist who enjoys building clouds and engineering Enterprise Infrastructure as a career, and enjoys all manner of technology-adjacent hobbies in my downtime - photography, home theater, gaming, homelab, the usual. A firm believer that the best uses of technology should be simple, reliable, focused, and minimal, something modern technology very much isn't. I love to travel, but being gay limits my destinations.

Employment inquiries should check the TXT record on job.spacedino.net for contact info.

Why Is This?

I wanted an outlet for my thoughts that forced me to write long-form and thoughtfully, rather than the knee-jerk, fly-off-the-handle engagement promoted by mainstream social media.

In other words: I just wanted to say stuff after I thought about it a lot first. I think more people should give that process a try.

When Is This?
